Outfit: Styling the Sleeveless Trench for Summer

Der Trench-Coat ist ein klassisches Must-Have im Kleiderschrank. Doch dieses Teil hier ist kein gewöhnlicher Trench-Coat. Die ärmellose Variante wie diese Weste von Edited ist der perfekte Begleiter sowohl für den Sommer als auch für den Winter. Ob als Kleid getragen oder geschichtet über Hose und Bluse – die Trench-Weste bringt frischen Wind in jedem Look.

Ich trage die Kleid-Variante, ähnliche wie in einer meiner bisherigen Outfit-Posts. Der Gürtel, welchen du beliebig durch einen anderen Gürtel ersetzen kannst, akzentuiert die Taille und der Schlitzt lässt gerade so die Beine hervorblitzen. Damit das Outfit nicht zu „dressy“ wird, habe ich dazu meine „Lenny“-Sandalen von Isabel Marant kombiniert. Diese sehen wie Birkenstock-Sandalen mit Nieten aus. Für einen noch lässigeren Look trage aufgeknöpfte Weste über Jeans und Pullover. Egal wie man den ärmellosen Trench auch stylt, er is sicher ein tolles Teil für die Übergangszeit, was meint ihr?

The trench coat is a classic staple in our closet, but this particular one is not your average trench. In it’s sleeveless silhouette a trench vest like this one from Edited is a perfect companion in both summer and winter. Wether worn as a dress or layered over pants and blouses it’s an easy way to give your wardrobe a fresh face.

I’m going for the ‚wearing as a dress‘ option, similar to one of my previous outfits. The belt which you can replace with another belt if you want accentuates your waist and the slit provides just that little bit of a glimpse on the legs. In order to prevent the outfit from looking too dressy I wore my Lenny sandals from Isabel Marant which basically look like studded Birkenstock sandals. For an even more casual version pair the unbuttoned vest with denim jeans and sweater. No matter how you style the sleeveless trench, it sure will be the perfect item for transitional dressing, don’t you think?
