My love for two-piece sets will continue in the fall/winter season without a doubt. And there it meets my other fashion-lover – the check print. Checked coat, checked bouclé jacket or as seen on me the checked blazer and the checked set – it’s my ultimate pattern for fall. An if that wouldn’t be enough I go even further and combine small plaids with bigger plaids to a power pattern mix! & Other Stories has the best selection of checked pieces, so an outfit in checked all over would be easy to find there. Next to an oversized blazer I also need a hourglass blazer in my wardrobe. It has shoulder pads and a strong tapered waist, on the bottom it’s a little bit more flared. That way it gives a nice and interesting silhouette. The hourglass blazer is often made out of thicker material so it keeps the shape. In combination with the checked set and its wide pants and wide shirt there is a nice contrast in how the clothes fits your body: Tailored and fitted but also wide and loose.
